Congratulations Kelley! I feel the same! It is freeing to just create and not be worried or pressured by the monetizing aspect of this space. Enjoy your creating!

Good for you. I have never looked at Substack as a means to monetize my thoughts so I think we see the world the same. Have fun creating and feeling your freedom :)

Congrats on your epiphany, Kelley!! I think we all go through that issue...to monetize or not to monetize in Substack. Whatever choice resonates with you and allows your creative process to flow is what is best for you. Sending you loving support and vibes!

Congrats, and thank you because I enjoy reading your writing. So much focus on making money from our writing takes the joy and creativity out of it IMHO. Remember "do what you love and the money will follow"? Money is a by-product of the creative process. And perhaps so much focus on making money in a specific way closes us off to the many ways we aren't aware of that the Universe can bring it to us.

I think it's the best way to go, Kelley. I just found this Substack a second ago and I'm happy you're going free. Whenever I monetize mine, I plan to just have a weekly or bi-weekly paid edition for paid subscribers. I'm subscribing to see where you go from here!

I had a similar epiphany with Medium years ago, now. I 'let go' of writing for $, and trusted the Divine to reveal my poetry to whomever would benefit from seeing it. Liberating! Congrats!
